AB Banan Company's property, with its iconic sign, was built in 1928. Despite being purely a logistics building, it came to be known as the Banana Temple due to its castle-like appearance. Now, the culturally protected building is being carefully renovated to become Stockholm's largest cultural venue for concerts, festivals, clubs, and events.

The nightclub Banankompaniet opened in 2023 in Banan-Kompaniet AB's abandoned Stockholm warehouse. The club is located in Frihamnen and has two stages, four bars, and an outdoor area open during the summer. In addition to nightclubs, of which Natten is one of the most popular, it is a venue for concerts, art exhibitions, and other types of exciting cultural events.

The culturally significant building is now being renovated to become Stockholm's largest cultural venue for concerts, festivals, clubs, and events, with a capacity to accommodate 3,750 people at once. The initiative is led by Kulturarenor, which already operates Trädgården, Fållan, Färgfabriken Evenemang, Eden, and Under Bron in Stockholm.
